How Lithium Charging Works

There are several charger manufacturers on the market that use different algorithms depending on the battery technology. They create algorithms to determine what current and voltage output the charger will use to charge the battery. There are three algorithm stages for charging a Lithium Ion Battery.

The charger will start to slow down the amperage as the battery is reaching its nominal voltage.

The charger will hold the voltage and deliver a small amount of current to finalize the charging.
