Review 72V LFP and NMC battery program examples, then request engineering, sourcing, qualification, and managed volume-production support.

Explore distinct 72V battery pack options

Related catalog records with the same voltage, chemistry, and capacity are consolidated so buyers can compare meaningful pack options without repeated listings. Use these designs to compare capacity, chemistry, energy, enclosure, and discharge requirements.

How to specify a 72V lithium battery program

A “72V battery” is a voltage class, not a complete specification. The actual nominal and full-charge voltage depends on chemistry and series count, so the battery, BMS, charger, controller, contactors, cabling, and connected equipment must be reviewed as one electrical system.

What determines the right 72V capacity?

Start with continuous and peak power, duty cycle, target runtime, usable state-of-charge window, reserve, temperature, and lifecycle goals. Amp-hours alone can be misleading unless the voltage and load profile are included.

Which requirements matter for high-power 72V systems?

Document peak discharge, regenerative or charge current, pre-charge, contactors, fusing, service disconnects, isolation, communications, connector ratings, thermal limits, ingress, vibration, and fault behavior. High-power mobility and industrial systems often fail at the interfaces rather than at the cell-energy calculation.

What should an RFQ include?

Provide the application, voltage window, continuous and peak load, runtime, charger, controller, available space, weight target, environment, connectors, communications, compliance requirements, first-order quantity, annual volume, and target milestone.
