LBC manages battery engineering, supplier selection, production, quality control, certification support, and delivery for OEM, industrial, defense, and commercial programs. Start with the application, voltage, load, runtime, available space, environment, communications, compliance needs, first-order quantity, and expected annual volume.

Catalog orders begin at 10 units and custom programs begin at 25 units. LBC does not supply individual retail batteries. Final performance, sourcing, pricing, certification, and delivery commitments are confirmed for each program.

What a qualified battery manufacturing program should include

A credible battery program is more than a cell choice and a unit price. LBC develops or reviews the controlled electrical and mechanical requirements, selects a production path against capability and capacity, defines incoming and in-process quality controls, coordinates validation and certification support, and manages commercial delivery milestones. Cell traceability, BMS capability, process fit, documented quality systems, capacity, sourcing constraints, and change control.

Questions engineering and procurement teams should ask

Who owns the battery specification?

The program should identify who controls the bill of materials, drawings, firmware, approved substitutions, test limits, and revision history. That prevents silent component changes from becoming field failures.

How are production and quality claims verified?

Ask for evidence tied to the actual program: supplier capability, process documentation, inspection and test records, traceability, corrective-action workflow, and acceptance criteria. A facility photo or a generic certification is not enough.

What changes between a prototype and volume production?

Prototype success is only one gate. Pilot builds, tooling, controlled documentation, component availability, end-of-line testing, packaging, transport, certification, and production capacity must be planned before volume release.
